We are guided every day by ourmission statementandcore values. Our mission:

PhycoTech, as a Christian based company, is devoted to improving environmental water quality worldwide and protecting our water resources for future generations. We have a strong commitment to fostering environmental stewardship among our local communities’ youth. We are committed to providing our staff with an environment conducive to personal growth, while providing our clients with extremely accurate and useable data, delivered in a timely manner.

Our History

PhycoTech was founded in 1990 as a home-based business. Because of increased demand for our services, we moved to a larger laboratory and office space in January 1994. This space provided approximately 800 square feet of working space and 1,200 square feet of storage. Another expansion occurred in August 1988, where PhycoTech moved into a new building with approximately 10,000 square feet of office and laboratory space.

We launched our integrated data management software – ASA System – in 2002, and it is still in use today. We continue to upgrade our technology in order to provide the most up-to-date information to our customers.

We are incorporated as an S Corporation in the State of Michigan and are certified as a Woman Owned Business. We have been a qualified DBE since 2000. In 2018, we were listed as one of the Fifteen Under 15 businesses making a dynamic difference in southwest Michigan.
